Raneous returns to the Shadowlands and quickly learns that something evil is trying to strangle the beautiful city of Livia. Infested with huge rats, red-eyed snakes, and lying tongues, fear and chaos hold Livia in its grip. Can Raneous and Brian, along with some new friends save this city and its people from total destruction? They are in for the fight of their lives, but only the High King can get them through this tangled web of deceit. As they soon learn, victory over evil does not always come by the edge of the sword.
