This workbook was designed to facilitate student-ledtransformative conversations. In a non-traditional teaching environment, students will haveopportunities to explore life-changing self-awareness through collaboration with their peersand adult leaders on the topics of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The case studies were designed with fictional characters in real-world situations. "A Teen'sCoaching Tool Towards Embracing Equity & Diversity" was birthed out of the racial unrestexperienced in the year 2020 during a world pandemic. In many ways, efforts have been madeto deal with the inequities many have experienced in life. However, we believe that there is stillmuch to do in the areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The events of 2020 reiterated theneed and desire for humanity to come to the table and engage in much needed authenticconversation so we can bridge the gap through powerful dialogue. We hope you enjoy theseconversations as much as we did when putting this body of work together.
