This is the true story of Adam Custin, a young man who lived with mental illness from the age of fourteen, diagnosed with Schizophrenia at the age of twenty. This is a story designed to help others feel connected without sigma or shame who live with mental illness or have a loved one with mental illness in hopes that they will not feel so alone in their journey. I hope you will find that we all walk a similar path with different players, and we all need to fight together to end the stigma surrounding mental illness and support our loved ones who walk this journey. Adam's life had a lot of pain, sorrow, and disappointment, yet we never want to forget that is was a life filled with love and many joys as well.
