The Future of My Story J Marlbor Alvarado

At twenty years old, Paquito already shoulders the responsibilities of an adult. Of Hispanic and Jewish descendent, the young Quisqueyan has an education and a good job on Staten Island, New York. But Paquito dreams of more. He dreams of being rich, of being able to take care of his mother and live a life of luxury. But business failure, a troubled relationship with an older woman, and a stint in prison threaten to derail Paquito's dreams until he meets a mysterious mentor who will open his eyes to new possibilities.

Mr. Frank is the opposite to Paquito. An old man, he's given up many hopes in his life. He's content to be poor, and he has no ambitions or goals for the future. But there's more to Mr. Frank than meets the eye. As the friendship between Paquito and Mr. Frank deepens, Paquito investigates the old man's life, and he will discover a truth so magical it will change his own life.
