In her own unique and sometimes frank way she explains how she was able to always keep the victory and grow in the ways of God while not allowing herself to be overcome by the offenses that others can so often bring to our lives, whether wittingly or unwittingly. Sometimes all of us may find ourselves contending with people and situations within the church as much as with challenges from without (remember a popular sermon theme: better the stench of the Ark then the floodwaters outside the Ark?) And Satan too often works to magnify these problems unduly.
