The Road to New Life: the Way of Jesus of Nazareth (Living the Gospel Daily - Learning to Follow Jesus) (Volume 1) Phil J Rehberg

The Road to New Life: The Way of Jesus of Nazareth is the story of God's love and effort to give us new life and what it means to become a follower of Jesus. It is the ideal guide through the process of finding new life fully explained. The book is perfect for giving to an unbeliever, new Christian, or to someone who said a prayer of salvation once but never really started following Jesus. It takes readers step by step through the salvation process: love and sin, the Cross, repentance, faith, and surrender. The first five chapters have reflection questions and prayers to help the reader through the process. Surprisingly there are few if any books that explain the gospel and the responses to the gospel in a complete way. Written in a warm and engaging style, this book fills that need extremely well. It helps the reader to understand what they are doing and to count the cost of becoming a follower of Jesus. This book will help avoid the problem of quickie conversions that don't really change the person. Covering themes of the kingdom of God, friendship with God, and community, it is tailored to reach hearts in a postmodern world. The book is also ideal for training Christian workers in the gospel and how to explain the gospel. Thus, it should be very useful for church youth workers, evangelists, missionaries, and church outreach programs (including e-book outreaches).
