Twelve-year old Richard Blaze and his four friends have been leading a normal life...until they find out that they can speak to animals. They are suddenly thrown into a world without humans that they now have to save from utter destruction. The wolves and foxes have been at odds for centuries, but it is now evident that a war is about to break out. The foxes have captured the wolves' king, and are keeping him as a hostage. The foxes have been torturing him for reasons unknown, and it is up to Rick and his friends to track him down and rescue him before he dies. They must quickly learn how to fight and defend themselves in an unknown territory and discover their true potential.
