A Canvas of Words: Our Literary Lapses II The Mariposa Writer's Group

A Canvas of Words takes us on a journey across Canada and around the world. The authors, with their vivid word pictures, bring laughter to our lips and tears to our eyes with their lively descriptions and sharp details of real and imaginary events. Here we find tales of growing up, love, courtship and marriage in rural Ontario in times gone by, personal experiences of survival in war and peace and unique challenges confronted and solved. We hear messages from unexpected sources - a condemned house, Mother Earth, cats, dogs and turtles all voicing opinions, planning and plotting future events. Love, hate, horror, lust, longing, compassion, wonder, the passages of life, the future and celebrations of everyday accomplishments, are all explored in the poetry, prose, stories and articles of interest by the 22 authors who have contributed to, A Canvas of Words. Congratulations to The Mariposa Writers? Group for this skillful interpretation and presentation of the past, present and future of the amazing world that surrounds us in A Canvas of Words.
