Gary Peranic is a 23 year old male who had decided to take part in annual competitions in his life. As he got home from buying printer paper, he noticed a strange letter that was sent to him via mail. Opening the envelope, he realized that it was an ad to compete in the sixth annual Chamberland Maze Run. With 5 other contestants, he is required to hunt through a large labyrinth, to find an expensive item known as "The Artifact" No one knows what it looks like, but only one person will figure out the true meaning behind something that has great value. But what if it seems too good to be true? Imagine getting an invitation for a party or get together, only to slowly realize that once you step foot inside, you have created a mistake that will affect you for the rest of your life. Imagine slowly going mad from the slowness of time, and trying to figure out if your intentions are from pure enjoyment or from selfishness and greed. Imagine the only exit that lies beneath is from the sacrafice of pointy knives and wicked blood. In this short story, you will find out what true claustrophobia and the long time effect of curses can do to the human brain.
