Christ Versus Bully Thomas Gillmore
Christ Versus Bully
Thomas Gillmore
We confront bullies in a variety of forms. We can easily identify some bullies because the bully is a person such as a spouse, parent, family member, or friend. We struggle with another form, the bully of self-perception when we say, "I am not good enough," or "I don't have enough time," or "I don't like my behavior." We battle the bully of addiction to sex, drugs, shopping, and alcoholism. Bullying is the way we think about others, or ourselves, when we say, "I hate them," or "They are so pathetic," or "They owe me big-time for doing this or that to me." In all these cases, the bully attempts to collect an emotional debt we cannot pay.
