The highly opinioned Jonah took it upon himself to head to a different direction away from his assigned destination. He does not wish to go to Nineveh to preach repentance to the people, as God has commanded. Jonah ended up in the belly of a great fish for 3 days and 3 nights. Eventually, the fish vomited him up on dry land. He makes the 500-mile trip to Nineveh and preached to the people. Jonah was not happy with God's response to the people's action. He was taught a further lesson by God. This book is an attempt to explore some nuggets from this biblical story."For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them " ( Ephesians 2:10).
