This is a collection of short stories describing the author's life on a farm in the 1950s, before industrial pollution, acid rain and heavy vehicular traffic. Wildlife, editable mushrooms and wildflowers thrived. A love of family, nature and the land is readily evident. He was part of a large family that numbered from 7 to 11 at any time. His parents taught him the values of right and wrong while his grandparents taught him the strict customs of their church.
