"The Invitation" is a book which challenges people to rise above simply surviving life to truly living the abundant life in Christ. Each chapter deals with a specific instance in the life of Christ in which Jesus took time to have fellowship with those around Him. I sought to draw from the events of the Bible and to apply them to my own personal experiences as the Lord has taught me how to rise above just existing to truly living life to its fullest. My book seeks to encourage people who are struggling to not give up, but rather with God's help to rise up out of despair and start living again. The book provides biblical and practical advice as to how this can be accomplished each day. This book was born out of my own battle with depression and the miraculous deliverance which the Lord brought about in my life. The coping strategies shared have worked wonders for me and would be beneficial to anyone who takes them seriously.
