Vikings on the Oregon Coast: a Pictorial Memoir of the Viking's Cottages Carol Margot Delong

Cherished by eight decades of travelers on the Oregon Coast, the Viking's Cottages have reached the end of their days. Countless cottage visitors brightened their lives, changed their destinies, found solace, renewed relationships, and rediscovered the world's beauty here. Their stories are too numerous to tell. This collection of pictures, historical anecdotes, bits of legend, and entries from cottage guest journals is only a sampling of bygone times. For those whose precious coastal remembrances include certain little blue cabins on a sea cliff in Newport, let this memoir nourish those treasured memories. While those new to the Oregon Coast may feast their curiosity and imagine the spirit of another time and place.
