Every year Melanie and her family take a vacation to their secluded cabin in Montana's wilderness. This year things are different. A victim of a crime committed by a close friend, this year's vacation will last all summer in an attempt to remove her from a bad situation. Melanie's summer threatens to be boring until she meets Matt and his brothers, who are visiting from Alaska. She soon finds herself deeply enthralled in a summer romance with Matt's brother, Jared, who tries to help her overcome her haunting past.
