Mindless Vengeance is the story of a young woman who has enough energy, intellect and bravado to tackle the world. Jennifer is a college student who decides to return home to help unravel the mystery surrounding her father's death. Her father, a police officer for over twenty years, suddenly commits suicide. As if that is not shocking enough to Jennifer and her family, he is now the fourth police officer in recent months to die by his own hand. As Jennifer begins to delve into the case, she encounters a deadly force that works against her to not only impede her efforts, but also to destroy her and those she loves. Jennifer must battle against time and an unknown evil to keep her sanity and to learn the truth of her father's demise. Along the way, Jennifer meets Rusty, a quiet and unassuming guy whose demeanor is Jennifer's polar opposite. As their two lives begin to come together, they find their differences are sometimes impeding, but more often complimentary, in their efforts to understand what lies before them. Jennifer is forced to contend with the powerful forces of evil, an evil that threatens to pull her into its clutches through hatred, passion and emotion. Jennifer seeks to destroy the evil that she fears has destroyed her father; however, is ultimately faced with whether she can destroy it without becoming that same evil. Meanwhile, Rusty has struggled throughout life to learn how to control emotions he wished he didn't have. Together they must somehow find a way to unlock the mystery that refuses to be revealed. Lives come together and lives are torn apart in this story that touches the very fabric of life.
