Retreat-in-a-bag Series (Book 3): Disciplesheep ... Putting off Your Wolf-like Tendencies Calvary Chapel of Dallas / Plano Women's Ministry

Have you ever wished that there was a resource available to help with the creative end of retreat and event planning? Book 3 of the Retreat-in-a-Bag Series provides a model for a women's retreat based on the theme, "Disciplesheep... Putting Off Your Wolf-Like Tendencies" from Ephesians 4:22-24. Inside you will find reproducible theme-related artwork, a five-act serial skit, two mini-skits and a Bible study. Also included are teaching, decorating, and remembrance ideas to enhance your themed event. Using the creative talents within your women's ministry, this resource can serve as a catalyst to create a retreat that is both meaningful and uniquely yours. One five-act skit (approx. 60 min. total) is included, along with two mini-skits (approx. 5 min. each). This theme, "Disciplesheep... Putting Off Your Wolf-Like Tendencies" uses the visual illustration of a sheep discarding its wolf skin as it is being transformed into a sheep. The wolf represents our "old man" and the sheep represents our "new man". We all have "wolf-like" tendencies--unloving attitudes, selfish motives, and behaviors that are of the flesh. As we as believers are in the process of being sanctified, we are putting off the "wolf" and God is working in us through His Spirit to make us more Christlike--a "sheep".
