The book discusses the uses of music for many different physical, emotional and mental problems across major age groups. The history of how music has been used in different cultures is discussed. The types of music which are harmful are listed for humans, plants and animals. A "how-to" sections lists specific pieces of music which can be used to attain different states and moods. Also, suggestions are given how to deal with negative music. An appendix contains the author's research on the effects of positive and negative music on brainwaves.
