The Apocalypse of Abraham: Together with the Testament of Abraham Dr. Moses Gaster

Angelic visitations. Visions of heaven. Encounters with the forces of evil. And insight into the End of Days. The Apocalypse of Abraham is a classic piece of Apocalyptic literature in the same tradition as the Book of Enoch. Preserved in Slavonic, probably from Greek originals, both the Apocalypse of Abraham and the Testament of Abraham are presented together with insightful commentary from noted religious studies scholars G. H. Box and Dr. Moses Gaster. This authoritative text has value for students, theologians, and lay-readers alike. Students of both Christian and Jewish demonology will find the sections on the fallen angel Azazel and Samael, "poison of God," to be of particular interest.
