He enters a small village where he stops at a kafenio and meets an old storyteller who warns him not to proceed to a palace nearby. Alexios goes to the palace in spite of the warning and finds himself in a life and death struggle with great evil. The struggle may be an end to his life or it may be beginning of the fulfillment of fortune and glory for the young adventurer. Will he succeed in his quest and return home to his family and the love of his life or will he be destroyed by the evil he has encountered? Written and illustrated by George Rodetis Excerpt: "Madness and death await anyone who would dare to enter that damned house. Oglu wasn't the only one to have met his death there. There were many others. It would be far better for you to sleep out in an open field and risk the turbulence of a storm, the ferocity of wolves, or even the sharp stings of scorpions. than to go inside that satanic place tonight, of all nights"
