Seventy-five years ago It came and wiped out ninety percent of the human race. Seventy-five years ago the human race ran to the corner of the Earth and hid themselves inside the Bubble. Now, they have forgotten about the Evil lurking just outside their door. Political unrest sweeps through the nation, the people so focused on their personal gains that they don?t notice the Darkness quietly seeping back into their lives, intent on destroying them once and for all. Ten years ago Nelson Phoenix lost his eyes in a bar fight. Ten years ago he attempted to take his life by throwing himself outside of the Bubble, where the Evil thrived. Nelson wanted to die, but instead was granted life by the same thing that had destroyed most of his race. Now, Nelson is a political fugitive, hated by the people and hunted by not-so-human things that go bump in the dark.
