This book uses vivid stories and examples to paint a picture of the life of a secondary science teacher. The main objectives are to help both new and experienced science teachers acquire useful skills, ideas and knowledge, while at the same time igniting a passion for science and science teaching. The approach taken is to use the power of storytelling and an informal style to engage science teachers and stimulate them to think about important issues and aspects of science teaching. I also try to provide readers with in-depth advice on some of the thornier problems and demands that face all science teachers.
