Public-private Partnerships and Heritage: a Practitioner's Guide
Caroline Cheong
This publication focuses on the application of public private partnerships for individual heritage buildings. Though most of the principles and guidelines described here do apply to large-scale urban regeneration projects ? and many individual heritage PPP projects take place in areas in need of such revitalization ? such projects encompass complex social and economic issues that are out of the scope of this publication. It is our aim to highlight and simplify the explanation of PPP arrangements so that practitioners whose work involves heritage resources may explore the use of these partnerships when looking for new uses for their historic buildings.
