We're not the first people to walk this road. Countless men and women from biblical times have faced trials and ordeals. Their narratives mirror our life stories. Meeting them can feel like a reunion with distant relatives. By delving into their accounts, a bond is created that links the present to the past, in hope of building a bridge to the future. As we encounter these pivotal people in our heritage, it can lead to a fresh re-union with God. In the same way as He sought out, cared for, and provided hope for them in the past, God desires to meet with us for our good and His glory.
