Irreligious, Sacrilegious and Othertales
Nicolaos S. Tzannes
A collection of short stories, several of which have appeared in The Freethinker, The Humanist and The FirstWriter magazines. A group of them can be characterized as irreligious and sacrilegious, because they challenge popularly held religious beliefs, sacred practices and dogmas. The author hopes that these will contribute to the emergence of a new irreligious/atheistic genre. If the statistics are correct and 15-20% of the people are non-believers, this genre will be welcomed. The collection also includes stories that are didactic, as well as, some that are autobiographical. A lot of the stories are based on true events, not necessarily experienced by the author.
