This a Creative Memoir; taken from the experience of a Veteran diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and the unperceived effects on his life. This author would like to share this story from his own experiences of military combat, homelessness, and recovery, to help other Veterans realize that there is recovery, and that they are not the first from our society to feel, act, or suffer from the effects of volunteering to wear the uniform of their country in conflict, or extreme duress. As this writing reflects, it can be a long and painful journey. The author is a Service Connected Disabled Veteran, with four years as a Field Artillery Crewman, Air and Field Artillery Forward Observer as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He also served as a Light Infantry soldier and advisor in Central and South America.
