Contributor Bio: Christie, Charlene I feel very blessed that I can now call myself a published author. I enjoy writing self help books but my real passion lies in writing children's story books. I have many unpublished works which I have written over the years and now Amazon has given me the vehicle to bring them to life and share them with others. I was born in the great city of Toronto, Canada to West Indian Parents. With a family of 6 siblings, child's play and story telling was a normal part of the everyday for me. My sister use to write stories daily and read them to us before bed and our imaginations went wild. I think it was then that I really connected with the magic of childhood dreams and the hope that lives within all children. I started volunteering at a young age in daycare and public schools and pretty soon I was running the entire children's program at my church. I had a lot of pride in this job and put on several large productions with the kids during my time there. I am a dreamer at heart and a sucker for a happy ending and I hope to put a spark in your child's eyes with my books. Once in a while when I delve into self help I take it very seriously and make sure that I am providing more use factor than what my readers will have to pay for the book. I am doing what I love everyday when I write and I thank people like you for making it possible.
