This story was intended to be a novella which I wrote when I was twenty-two. When I found I could publish easily through digital media, I quickly edited and published the work after my twenty-fifth birthday. I thought the message was clear despite the brevity. Children without the sense of sight, smell, taste, touch, or sound live peculiar and confusing lives. Mutes live in this veil of white yet are able to communicate and drink in their environment when around other mutes. Chase Wolfe, a mute, recounts the story of his life with his friends, and family, and his bizarre struggle to be normal through his twisted ailment.
