Memoir Poetry: Snippets from My Life Ms. Joan E. Lunney

I chose the title Memoir Poetry because, when poems come into my mind, they are a reflection of what is going on in my life at the time. The poems in this monograph will hopefully plant seeds in the minds of the readers that all things come from the Lord himself. The poems were written as they occurred to me. Several other poems come through my mind when I?m not ready to write, and, when I try to think about them later when I have the time, they vanish. Notebooks in my purse and paper all over my house enable me to write down my thoughts when I feel a poem emerging. They are everyday thoughts that occur and hopefully the reader will see a poem that they can relate to and plant a seed of knowledge in their mind as well.
