The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has invested nearly $1 Billion in research aimed at helping all blood cancer patients live better, longer lives. Between 2000 and 2012, 28 of 67 cancer drugs newly approved by the FDA were developed first for blood cancer patients. LLS helped advance many of them.
