While the author was visiting Sophia?s Grandparents in Aitkin, Minnesota from Melbourne, Australia, she overheard Sophia, aged 6, creating this Troll story with her Grandfather, Grumpy, and she has written this book for her. All the characters, the children and the places exist... Old Mr Troll lived in a hole under Grumpy's bridge. The Greedy old Troll lived like a mole in his hole behind a ridge. Grumpy's sign "Beware of The Troll" kept all the children at bay ... ... but Sophia put a stop to that and frightened the Troll away.. Hooray!
