In this second chapter book of the series, "I Can Read with Max and Pat," Max and Pat have three new adventures together. In the story, "Max Helps the Hen," hen tells Max that she is tired of sitting on her eggs. Max volunteers to take a turn providing that hen, "Comes back soon."
