I'll "Die for You" is set in the Carolinas during the Civil War Era. The story takes you deep into the South and gives you a glimpse of how things may have been, a place where slavery existed with its cruelties and oppression, a place where the rich and poor are at odds because of prejudices. The reader gets a glimpse of the one sandwiched in between the two classes. The author has weaved aspects found in Romeo and Juliet, Gone with the Wind, and Uncle Tom's Cabin into a wonderful novel that can be enjoyed by all. The book was written with the intent of making a "good ole little story" for everyone to sit back and enjoy another slice of the American way of life.
