The Last Faerie King
Robert Bruce Curtis
Three teenagers and their chaperone, Miss Chelsea O'Callaghan, daughter of Colonel Austin O'Callaghan, hero of Nijmegen, have taken to the Irish countryside in search of information on the great Irish bard, William Butler Yeats. They arrive in Killybegs, in the northwest part of Ireland, a small town where Miss Chelsea and her family spent many a summer and they meet Mrs. Pinckersly, the town librarian. She introduces them to the Special Section and they wind up hunting for a talisman for the King of the Tuatha Dé Danann -- the tall faeries -- in an Ireland long lost in the ages.
