Emotional Expressions Through Poetry Lena Elizabeth Davis

This book consist of poems that I wrote, from 1982-2015. They reflect my emotions as I dealt with situations in my life, and things that happened around me. I was motivated by the hardships, as well as all the happy times I had raising my sons. I had help from their grandmothers Elizabeth, Mattie, and Shirley, also a special friend Lucia. My main purpose of this book is to show people anything is possible if you believe in yourself; never let negative people hold you back. My poem" Fuel on the fire", was inspired by negative remarks, that were made to me when I talked about plans I had for certain thing in my life. I accomplished a lot by using negativity as my fuel. I knew the day would come when I could say, See what happens when you never give up on your dreams for a better
