Money laundering has become the third largest industry in the world. Narcotics dealing, gun running, and selling components to make nuclear weapons, are a few of the illegal activities creating what is known as "dirty money". One of the many ways this "dirty money" can be laundered into the American economy, and made legitimate, is through complex stock transactions.
"Breaking Down Barriers" is a fictional story woven around the disappearance of Michael Brampton, a talented young stockbroker working for an Investment Company in Newport Beach, and his wife, Cindy. Michael's futile attempts to disentangle himself from a money laundering scheme, with some of the top underworld crime lords in New York, Palm Springs and Las Vegas, leave him with only one option.
