The book Is there a place for me in the Church? is collection of interviews and essays of the persons who were, or still are, members of the Church or a Christian community, but for various reasons felt distanced or marginalized within Her. The book is result of the first project of Echoes Network, that is a part of a broader research agenda summarized under the title Echoes from the Church in Central and Eastern Europe. In total 47 personal testimonies (15 essays and 32 interviews) are published in this book. They are collected in 12 countries of Central and Eastern Europe: Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
