The Green Family moved to Central Kentucky in the mid-1850's. The book, "How They Make Angels", is a factual account of the Green's, with a good mix of fiction. The story chronicles the lives of three generations of one family, from Pre-Civil War, through the Great Depression, and World War II. The author, Glyndon E. Green, is a member of the fourth generation of the Green's from Harmon's Lick. The book was compiled from stories and conversations shared with friends and families over a period of 50+ years. The stories included in this offering are based upon factual events, with a great deal of fiction mixed in. This is the first of a series of three books about "The Green's of Harmon's Lick".
