Lazy Weekend in Abuja Metropolis is a photo book about Abuja: a fast growing major city in Nigeria. It depicts in photos the deserted look the streets in the metropolis take on during the weekend, majority of the population are actually settlers looking for greener pastures and better opportunities but unfortunately can not afford the terrifying prices placed on house rents in the metropolis so they are financially compelled to live in commuting settlements. There is a great influx of commuters in the morning and in the evenings a corresponding human and vehicle outflux is observed with traffic congestion on the linking roads leading them home to their respective abode, and the drama begins again the next day except on weekends. Take a look into the deserted, painfully lonely but beautiful pictures of the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
