Boti-Osul, the Rider of the Night
Jeanine Compas
Boti-Osul was born in Africa but is raised in France. After committing an unspeakable act, he flees to Switzerland and, some time later, makes the United States his country of residence. He is however nostalgic for African land, and one day, he returns to Africa where he becomes the Grand Chief of the village near the river. But since the day he fled to Switzerland, remorse accompanies him everywhere, and from the love of one woman to another, he desperately wants to forget but in vain. Though, the only woman who could bring him oblivion does not want him. Then, on his horse, day and night, he goes wherever his distress leads him, heartbroken.
