It Could Happen To You - But Let's Hope Not

To quote Khalil Gibran: "Your children are not your children, but they are the sons and daughters of many." You must do your best to listen to and believe in your children. They will either learn from you or be taught by the world. Whenever you experience a loss, you must face it and you must go through the full grieving process. The loss could be anything from a death, a divorce, losing a job, losing a home, or losing your perfect health. Never deny the loss. Never ignore the loss or brush it under the rug. If you do, it will resurface again somewhere in your life. Most importantly, I hope you can always learn to forgive and forget. Sometimes we have to let go of what is killing us, even if it is killing us to let go. It's the only way you can move forward in a healthy manner.
