An interesting synthesis of thoughts has been occurring over the past number of years. Comedians have become the new intellectuals in society. Their observations and analysis of today's world are harkening back to the words of some of the great minds in history. As the world descends further into crazy, a unique angle of societal exploration is taken rolling together various factors that govern our culture. The tone of the book can be best described as Noam Chomsky and George Carlin had an angry baby, and it was left in the wild to fend for itself. An irreverent and logical approach is taken in deconstructing and examining: ideology, comedy, education, media, economy, and government.
