William Brown Gibbs established a gas station on a busy corner in McDowell County, North Carolina, in 1929. As he expanded it into the landmark Lake Tahoma Steak House, Bill developed a national reputation as a legendary bear hunter. His son, Pete Gibbs, ran the restaurant and cultivated his own natural gift of agape sacrifice.
