The Music Made Me Cry
Gregory a Dunaj
Abandoned by his father after his mother died in childbirth, Carlo has slouched his way through life until now. With his pursuit of skirts and pleasures financed by a hefty insurance settlement, Carlo has traveled like a dilettante on the Grand Tour, a barfly on an incessant bender, seemingly without direction or pause. Yet, throughout his soirees he has secretly envied his childhood friend, Harry. Carlo had tried convincing himself he was happy enough and could survive alone. Yet, when Harry announces he intends to abandon the stability of his family, Carlo is ill-prepared for the depth of painful emotions this elicits and decides to act on his lifelong secret desire. greg.dunaj@yahoo.com
