When Tim agrees to show ten of his intimately powerful paintings at a local gallery, he doesn't expect the evening to dissolve into a flurry of accusations, revelations, and revenge. In this bitterly funny dark comedy, the artist and his friends are in for a long night.



The most powerful art reveals truth, no matter how uncomfortable that truth may be. That's why Tim's work draws the attention of influential gallery owner Andre' Borelle. Convinced Tim's work will be a hit, Andre' encourages a bidding war between rival collectors Mike Stubbs and Pauline Powers. As the art world begins fighting over Tim's pieces, the subjects of several of them make surprise appearances.



Facing these specters induces Tim's reflections on the formative experiences of his life. His interest in art, his burgeoning bisexuality, and his alienation from his family combined to form a heady mix of emotions for the younger Tim-and his work reveals he is not as far removed from that young man as he thinks. Tim's insecurities, fears, and anxieties rise to the surface as the fight for his paintings intensifies. Betrayal, accusations, and even a poisoning could end Tim's art career before it can fully bloom.
