Postcards from Forrest
John M Hembree
This book was inspired by a postcard that was left in a basket of tennis balls on a Southern California beach in memory of a dog named Forrest. Authors John and Teri Hembree, along with coauthor Patrick Harlan, imagine Forrest's journey and explores the ideas put forth in his postcards, as he searches for answers to the meaning of life and finds inspiration from those he meets along the way to the Rainbow Bridge. Forrest's human parents, John and Teri, share the story of a beloved dog with a disability who refused to give up and who continued to inspire the lives he touched by never letting his disability stop him from being a dog.
