Mommy, I Miss You is a true story told by Ava through her vivid artistic illustrations that simply come alive on each page. She tells her story of true love and hope as she copes with the pains of separation while her Mother is away on a business trip. Ava pulls each and every one of our heartstrings as we visualize her soulful feelings of the love she has for her Mother. With only five years of life experiences she is able to harness her raw emotion through pencil and crayon and project it onto paper rather than the traditional temper tantrum of others her age. She is a true artist well beyond her years telling her story while simultaneously capturing our eyes, ears, minds and hearts.
