Understanding the daily grind of raising three young children, Laura Pentsa was living a perfectly normal, busy life when it all suddenly changed, and everyday life became a battle. At the young age of 35, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of triple-negative breast cancer. Her life was forever changed in that moment, and the following year was spent healing and learning. She learned about the physical side of cancer, but also grew emotionally and spiritually through the experience. She knows that the only place to find peace, guidance, safety and salvation is in God's Holy Word, the Bible! Written with a desire to encourage and inspire others facing their own unique hardship, Laura vividly recounts the events of her diagnosis, chemotherapy, and surgeries, culminating in her beautiful celebration party. She shares glimpses into specific moments of her journey through photographs and Facebook posts, fusing them together with lessons and tips for the physical body, help for the mental turmoil, and scripture to nourish the soul. With a focus on hope and joy, she is inspired to help others cling to His Word and find peace. While life's trials can prove to be hard, the lessons gleaned from them can prove to be beautiful.
