The 1940's and 1050's in America; a time of war torn families and hardship. At the same time, it was a moonshine running, gangster killing, party land of lawlessness and sex, that dominated a generation. Catherine Jacobs was the product of a single parent family, when society wasn't accepting of such things. A young girl who quit school to go to work in the city before most girls had put down their dolls. Through a series of events she is unwittingly enveloped into the darkest folds of a violent gangster sub-culture. This is her story as it evolves and she tries to survive.
