Poepi and the Giant
Emmanuel Tangas
Poepi (pronouned Poe-pee) and the Giant is a high fantasy story written as an approximately 6500 line epic poem, in 53 chapters. The story begins, when betrayal leads an evil giant to attack the kingdom of Islegrove. The Giant imprisons its king and queen, destroys their castle, and orphans their two little girls, princesses Poepi and Perlameen (Pearl - a - meen) Poupons. Many years later, on Perlameen's seventeenth birthday, the sisters are thrown into the adventure of a lifetime with many twists and turns - only time will tell if they both survive. A tip for reading: speaking the verses out loud in a normal voice should help you enjoy the meter of the work.: ) A tip for sketching illustrations: there is intentionally lots of space on most pages for you to doodle your own art illustrations of the story.: ) A bit of author backstory: The story was written for the author's very own two princesses, who all hope you have as much fun with the story as they did.
